- The new Sanctuary completion date is scheduled for September 9th.
- Our new South West Entry and Bell tower should be completed before the Dedication Mass.
- Total project cost is $9.6 million. To date we have paid $7.5 million. We have borrowed $2.1 million and the remaining balance on our project is approximately $2.1 million.
- The RV raffle raised just over $100,000 of the $180,000 needed to cover the cost of the Bell Tower.
- We still need sponsors for Liturgical items such as statues and stain glass windows. Until we raise more funds, we will need to postpone the ordering of several statues and stain glass windows for our new sanctuary. stmichaelgptx.org/sponsorgbgh
- Due to covid-19 safety procedures, we plan to have two projectors installed in our sanctuary and will avoid hymnal books or any print-outs. We are still raising money to date we have collected about 40% of our goal or $10,500. stmichaelgptx.org/projectorsponsor
Parish Financial Status
- For the month’s of July and August, collections are down about 38% compared to budget. September and October are forecasted to be an even larger deficit primarily due to our mortgage payment increasing. For example, in July our mortgage interest payment was $5,075. By November, when we borrow the full $4.2 million, our interest payment alone will be around $16,000.
