In response to the continuing financial hardships caused by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Catholic Charities Dallas (CCD) has partnered with a number of counties and cities in North Texas to administer their emergency financial relief programs.
CCD is currently working with the following entities to distribute emergency rent, mortgage and/or utility assistance relief to residents of:
Dallas County (excluding City of Dallas residents)
Collin County, including the cities of Frisco, McKinney and Plano
City of Dallas
City of Irving
City of Garland
City of Mesquite
City of Cedar Hill
Interested residents can apply online; a prescreening questionnaire will determine eligibility, based on the specific city’s or county’s guidelines. Typically, most residents who can prove residency and COVID-related financial impact (job loss, furlough, or reduction in hours or pay) may be eligible for a minimum of three months’ support.
