Child advocacy leaders gathered June 20 at Catholic Charities Dallas to call for an end to the separation of children from families crossing the U.S. border to seek asylum and to discuss ways North Texas entities can help keep these families together and offer assistance to those in need. Later in the day, President Donald Trump signed an executive order addressing family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border.
