We would like to thank everyone who made it out to our first church Safety Meeting. We are glad to announce we accomplished the first items on our agenda. A few items we touched on included:
Building a team from diverse backgrounds
Keeping Children Safe
Staff/parishioner awareness
Meeting goals with urgency
Immediate action from Grand Prairie Police Department safety and security recommendations.
Please note that our committee includes members who currently or have in the past served as FBI, police and military. We will be working in partnership with the Diocese of Dallas Risk Management and the Grand Prairie Police Department. A special thanks to Officer Greg New, GPPD for the introduction. Please keep in your prayers our Committee and join us in our sincere gratitude for their time and dedication to keeping our parish a safe place of praise and worship.
