Registration for Faith Formation year 2022-2023 is now open. Please register today to secure your child(ren) spot. Late fees for registration will begin on May 23rd. Classes will begin August 2022.

Please check back for updated information on Class days and times. Final information on class date and time will be emailed to you  in the summer.  Your child's Class will take place on one of the following days:

• Sunday 9:30am - 12:00pm (includes Mass) OR
• Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:45pm OR
• Thursday 6:30pm - 7:45pm 

Please note we do not issue refunds on any classes. Please register early to avoid late fees. You will incur late fees beginning May 23, 2022. 

Sacraments

Baptism is a requirement for entering any sacrament program.

Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion: is a two-year process (for students who have been Baptized in the Catholic Church). 

Required Document: Baptism Certificate.

• Year 1 Classes: The first year, the student is enrolled in the appropriate class for their school grade. (Although this is usually 1st grade, a student can be a ‘year one’ student in any grade.) This first year concentrates on learning about the Faith at the appropriate grade level, beginning to understand and appreciate the Mass, the Commandments and forgiveness.
• Year 2 Classes: The second year, students enroll in the appropriate grade. (Although this is usually 2nd grade, a student can be a ‘year two’ student in any grade.) In conjunction with attending appropriate grade level Faith Formation Class to learn the basics of our Catholic faith, the student is also prepared for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. There is an additional $40 Retreat/Activities fee for this 2^nd year.

Sacrament of Confirmation: is a two-year preparation program for students who have been Baptized in the Catholic Church and received First Holy Communion.  Required Document: Baptism Certificate and First Holy Communion Certificate.

• Year 1 Classes:  Pre-Confirmation Classes are for those students in 7th grade to 11th grade, Pre-Confirmation prepares the Candidate in Catholic Doctrine to better understand the Confirmation Sacrament.
• Year 2 Classes:  Confirmation Classes are for those students in 8th to 12th grade who have completed the Year 1 Pre-Confirmation Class. The Confirmation candidate is required to actively participate in the Faith Formation classes, attend every Sunday Mass and holy days of obligation, retreats, and service projects.  There is an additional $80 Retreat/Activities fee for this 2^nd year.

RCIA adapted for Children/Teens - If you have a child 7 years or older who needs to be baptized, they will be fully initiated into the Church and receive their Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.

• RCIA adapted for CHILDREN: is a two-year program.  Children who are above the age of 7 years old and who have not been baptized will be eligible to enroll in this process.  They will be determined of their readiness to receive the sacraments of Initiation (namely Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist) after completion of the process.  Required Document: Birth Certificate.

• RCIA adapted for TEENS: is a two-year program.  Teens that are above 13 years of age and who have not been baptized will be eligible to enroll in this process.  Each teen will be determined of their readiness to receive the sacraments of Initiation (namely Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist) after completion of the process.  Required Document: Birth Certificate.

• Parents must search for Godparent within the first 2 months of First Year Registration. Criteria of Godparent as follow: (1) Cannot be candidate's parents, (2) godparent must live locally to participate with the candidate - cannot be out of state or country, (3) must completed all sacraments of initiation, (4) if married must be Catholic Matrimony, (5) and must be practicing Catholics.
