Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program
As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility and are entrusted by God with the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of minors and vulnerable adults. As they participate in activities within or sponsored by our Diocese, it is our responsibility and commitment to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
For New Volunteers:
(Must be a Parishioner for at least six months)
Complete the Diocese of Dallas Screening Form
Provide three personal references, name, address, phone number, and email (No Family Members)
IMPORTANT: THEY WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL
Consent to a criminal background check.
Attend an initial Safe Environment training session.

For Returning Volunteers
Safe Environment training must be updated yearly. To update your Safe Environment please visit this website: Dallas Safe Environment.
St. Michael's Safe Environment Director will automatically receive your certificate.

Safe Environment In Person Class Registration for Volunteers
Please make sure you register online before you attend class. Registration will allow for the materials to be ready for you. Please arrive at your class session on time. Anyone who is 15 minutes late will no longer be eligible for the class and will need to re-register.
Note: You must be a parishioner for six months before volunteering; please register in the office or have your minister leader contact the SEP Director Rocio Martin at rocio@stmichaelgptx.org. -
